Established in Reggio Emilia in 1927, the name Caprari
today represents a wine-producing company which has evolved through the
years.
Caprari has updated its technology while staying true to its roots and
to the traditions which bring alive its Lambrusco, that lively sparkling
wine which carries to the tables of the world the sincerity and hospitality
of the people from Emilia.
Thanks to the importance of grape cultivation and wine production in the
area, where the production of Lambrusco is one of the primary assets of
the Emilian agricultural economy, the company is able to satisfy the needs
of the most demanding clients.
The company centres around two main activities: the first and most important
is the production of red and white sparkling wines, all produced using
the charmat method, and the second is the retail of high quality Italian
and foreign wines.
A few years ago Caprari also began a limited production of Traditional
Balsamic Vinegar from Reggio Emilia, in the top three qualities: gold,
silver and lobster. We have distributors in important foreign markets
such as Germany, France, Austria, Spain and Australia.
The company is open to the public from:
Monday to Friday from 8 -12 and 14.30 - 18.30,
and on Saturdays from 9 - 12.
